I'm a software developer currently living in Seattle, although I lived in Pittsburgh for a while. I've traveled a lot for work in the past and have also spent multi-month stretches in Atlanta, Curitiba (Brazil) and Boston.
Please note, however, that this is a personal "social blog" and nothing within should be viewed as an official position of my employers or contract clients (or anyone else on behalf of whom I've held some authority) past or present.
I've been accused of having an odd sense of humor; I think I have to plead guilty. I also collect quotes, which is where the "ObQuotes" (Obligatory Quote) in my entries are coming from.
After many years, I've started getting serious about losing weight, and keep a running summary of progress elsewhere.
